Manage and organize the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team to maximize manufacturing support, focusing on product quality, service call rate, and cost reductions. Responsibilities include improving manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement in conversion cost, enhancing productivity and efficiency, and managing machinery OEE and cycle time.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the improvement of manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods.
Drive continuous improvement in conversion cost as measured by company KPIs.
Improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workforce, space, and layout.
Develop and lead manufacturing engineering activities to improve machinery use (OEE) and reduce cycle time.
Act as a reference for central Manufacturing Engineering activities concerning new product introduction, confirming and implementing new manufacturing processes and technologies.
Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, focusing on cost reduction.
Confer with plant management regarding manufacturing capabilities, production plans, and facilitating production processes.
Participate in central ME initiatives.
Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Update internal manufacturing process database, production capacity data, site specifications, and plant layout.
Support plant activities to reach Quality targets.
Develop plant operation budgets and Capex plans in cooperation with Central ME.
Drive local plans to reduce energy and water consumption, introducing new company standards.
Manage plant infrastructures and facilities projects (Fire Protection, Safety, property protection, and security).
Actively contribute to the professional growth of the plant manufacturing engineering team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
12+ years’ experience in Engineering.
Project Management Skill is Required.
Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills in English.
Ability to Apply Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS Project & MS Office Tools.

Desired Qualifications

Supervision of: Process Engineers, Maintenance Manager, Dies & Tools maintenance engineers, Automation Expert.
Functional relationships with: Production, EMS, HR, Supply Chain, warehouse, Quality.
External Relationships: Suppliers.
