Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Sales to formulate pricing strategies.
- Draft strategic pricing plans and processes.
- Analyze historical financial data, cost structures, and industry trends.
- Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
- Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services.
- Examine financial, pricing, and sales data using Power BI, SQL, JDE, and SAP Business Objects.
- Lead development of robust pricing models and databases.
- Create financial models to assess the impact of various pricing scenarios.
- Develop and maintain configurators for accurate product pricing.
- Liaise with Finance and operational teams to collect cost data.
- Integrate cost components into pricing models.
- Establish competitive and profitable pricing for products and services.
- Recommend pricing actions based on data analysis.
- Conduct scenario analysis to forecast the impact of pricing changes.
- Develop detailed pricing proposals for customers.
- Partner with Sales teams to deliver accurate pricing information for bids and proposals.
- Manage requests for pricing for project quotations.
- Create quotes in Salesforce and JDE.
- Develop and drive analytical solutions to improve pricing and profit.
- Identify, implement, and track productivity projects related to pricing and cost recovery.
- Track Price versus Volume and determine ways to improve price realization.
- Manage the planning, modeling, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of key pricing data.
- Use analytical methods to report data and generate actionable recommendations.
- Create monthly/quarterly financial reporting metrics.
- Identify and proactively raise pricing issues and trends.
- Help others understand cost and pricing data in a manufacturing environment.
- Manage the approval of promotional invoices.
- Manage the sales sample process.
- Develop and maintain buying programs.
- Review, recommend, develop, and/or implement processes to optimize ERP applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- 3-5+ years in a Pricing, Finance or Sales analysis role.
- Experience designing models, developing pricing strategies, performing financial analyses of costs and prices, and performing competitive analyses of pricing and offerings.
- 4+ years of using and analyzing cost, financial, and/or pricing data.
- Ability to use a personal computer utilizing spreadsheet and word processing software applications, databases, and automated systems.
- Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Comfortable using configurators, large amounts of data, and standard Excel formulas.
- Ability to create advanced reports in Excel.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Highly proficient in financial modeling.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstration of creative and critical thinking skills.
- Strong math skills and above average analysis capability.
- Proficient with learning new systems and processes quickly.

- Profound understanding of pricing methodologies, cost structures, and market dynamics.
- Strong financial acumen, with advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel.
- Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, quality-driven, and capable of working with minimum supervision.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively within time constraints and deadlines, and maintain composure.
- Must possess integrity and be able to manage confidential information with the utmost care, security, and discretion.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Experience with JDE Accounting Package is a plus.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CMA) is advantageous.
