As an IT System Expert at Ericsson in Bangalore, you will architect and implement IT solutions, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible. Responsibilities

Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex CI/CD pipelines for automating VM provisioning.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to define and execute CI/CD strategies.
Implement best practices for automated deployments across on-prem and public cloud environments.
Mentor and guide junior team members in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, and CloudFormation.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to build failures, test failures, and deployment errors.
Actively participate in code reviews, providing expert insights on code quality, deployment scripts, and CI/CD pipeline configurations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive hands-on experience as a CI/CD Developer.
Expertise in Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Linux Virtualization, Red Hat Satellite, Shell Scripts, Terraform, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and public cloud-hosted applications.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
In-depth understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Excellent grasp of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
Solid knowledge of agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and software development lifecycles.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

Certifications in DevOps, Linux, Azure, and AWS are a significant advantage.
