IKEA Pasay City is hiring a Part-Time IKEA Food Assistant to enhance customer experience by encouraging store visits and providing excellent food offers. This role involves customer focus, sales optimization, and adherence to operational standards, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

Ensure customers are always in focus and strive to make them smile with an attitude based on IKEA values.
Act as a good ambassador for the IKEA store in all customer interactions and encourage repeat visits.
Learn about product content, origins, and benefits, and share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
Optimize sales by knowing top-selling products, supporting range changes, preparing the area, and contributing to the department's action plan and in-store activities.
Actively research local competition and provide relevant input to management regarding range and pricing.
Comply with and follow internal rules, policies, and daily operational routines.
Execute IKEA store operations in line with Functional Commercial Review standards.

Requirements

Sales-driven and passionate about food and people.
Experience in food management and industry.
Enjoy working in a vibrant fast-paced retail environment.
Service-minded with a customer focus.
Flexible and open to change.
Confident in approaching and talking to people in a friendly manner.
Take personal initiative and have good attention to details.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and collaborate.
Computer literate, specifically in MS Office system.

Desired Qualifications

Willing to learn new skills.
Willing to work on public holidays and weekends.
Flexibility in work hours, approximately 25 hours per week on average.
