Edwards is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 in Boise, ID to provide complex technical support for Edwards products, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role requires a degree in a mechanical, electromechanical, or electronics discipline and a minimum of 5 years of field service experience, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver complex operational tasks and commitments for Edwards products.
Provide high levels of field service support: installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Support service management with operational activities and generate commercial leads.
Act as a technical advisor and Edwards technical ambassador for key accounts.
Conduct 50% field service technical activities and 50% leadership support for key accounts.
Perform complex troubleshooting and fault finding, including software and controls interrogation.
Ensure quality assurance of site assets and processes, including risk awareness and maintenance data.
Provide expert technical support and first-level escalation for the site team.
Train the on-site service team to enhance their ability to support Edwards equipment.
Ensure all field service activities comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.
Adhere to all relevant aspects of the risk control element.
Work at static sites/fabs and travel regionally as required.
Support Service and Operations Manager positions with technical and service-related matters.

Requirements

University or formal qualification in a mechanical, electromechanical, or an electronics discipline.
Minimum of 5 years field service experience in a relevant or related industry, ideally with a strong customer-facing focus.
Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and timeframes.
Work in alignment with Edwards strategies and processes.
Self-directed, organized with the ability to handle and resolve complex and challenging problems.
Maintain a positive engagement with the customer.
Good interpersonal skills.
Self-starter and strong finisher.
Capable of exercising independent judgment and working with minimal or no supervision.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings/diagrams.
Understand defined specifications.
Continuously looks for better ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Influences other team members to deliver company objectives.

Desired Qualifications

Proactively seeks feedback and asks questions to understand customers’ business and make effective decisions.
Experience with software & controls interrogation.
Experience with limited configs loading of Edwards software applications.
Experience targeting to resolve or escalate issues with contractual timeframe commitments.
