Responsibilities
- Contribute to the concurrent CPU validation framework.
- Focus on CPU core/uncore validation and stress content development.
- Develop low-level firmware.
- Perform platform bring-up.
- Develop validation automation.
- Engage in complex silicon debug.
Requirements
- Strong C/C++ programming for embedded/low-level systems.
- Assembly programming, preferably ARM/AArch64 or RISC-V.
- Bare-Metal and RTOS development/debug.
- Good knowledge of ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V architectures.
- CPU Stress content development.
- Understanding of cache/coherency, MMU/TLB, interrupts, exceptions, system registers, memory ordering, and multicore synchronization.
- Understanding of Low-Power Management (LPM) and DVFS.
- Experience with CPU/SoC platform bring-up and silicon debug.
- Experience with JTAG / Lauterbach Trace32 (T32) or similar debug tools.
- Python scripting for validation automation and regression.
- Exposure to CI/CD and automated validation environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- 5 to 13 years of relevant experience is a must.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with CPU/SoC platform bring-up.
- Familiarity with silicon debug.
