Qualcomm seeks an experienced Embedded Systems and CPU Content Developer in Bangalore, India. The role involves contributing to a CPU validation framework, focusing on content development, low-level firmware, platform bring-up, automation, and silicon debug using C/C++, Assembly, and knowledge of ARM/RISC-V architectures.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the concurrent CPU validation framework.
Focus on CPU core/uncore validation and stress content development.
Develop low-level firmware.
Perform platform bring-up.
Develop validation automation.
Engage in complex silicon debug.

Requirements

Strong C/C++ programming for embedded/low-level systems.
Assembly programming, preferably ARM/AArch64 or RISC-V.
Bare-Metal and RTOS development/debug.
Good knowledge of ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V architectures.
CPU Stress content development.
Understanding of cache/coherency, MMU/TLB, interrupts, exceptions, system registers, memory ordering, and multicore synchronization.
Understanding of Low-Power Management (LPM) and DVFS.
Experience with CPU/SoC platform bring-up and silicon debug.
Experience with JTAG / Lauterbach Trace32 (T32) or similar debug tools.
Python scripting for validation automation and regression.
Exposure to CI/CD and automated validation environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
5 to 13 years of relevant experience is a must.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with CPU/SoC platform bring-up.
Familiarity with silicon debug.
