ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to act as the primary liaison between the company and its distributors, wholesale channels, architects, sales teams, and contractors. This role involves providing frontline customer support, resolving order-related issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between ASSA ABLOY and distributors, wholesale channels, architects, DSS Sales team, and contractors.
  • Provide frontline customer support and drive issue resolution.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by partnering with internal departments.
  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding pricing, order status, product availability, and shipping information.
  • Process CCFs and RGAs within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Resolve DON inquiries related to customer orders.
  • Utilize ASSA Connect to review customer-specific information.
  • Make sound decisions balancing company policies with customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and support process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize CRM tools and databases.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, systems, and customer service best practices.
  • Partner with team members to reduce errors resulting in credits and returns.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and uphold the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing, spelling, and grammar skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple systems and priorities simultaneously.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with JDE is a plus.
