Emerson Test & Measurement is looking for a Business Operations Intern to leverage AI for transforming business decisions. This role involves identifying automation opportunities, generating insights, improving forecasting, and enhancing team effectiveness using AI-powered tools and solutions. The intern will partner with leaders and analysts to explore AI's potential in improving decision-making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Identify business processes that can be improved or automated using AI technologies.
Develop AI-powered solutions that streamline reporting, analysis, knowledge management, and operational workflows.
Use Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Power BI, and other AI tools to improve productivity and business outcomes.
Analyze sales, forecast, customer, and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
Design and test AI use cases that improve forecasting, business reviews, market intelligence, or customer insights.
Create reusable AI prompts, workflows, and best practices that can be scaled across teams.
Present recommendations and proof-of-concept solutions to business leaders.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies.
Experience working with data using Excel or similar tools.
Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven recommendations.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
