Alfa Laval is seeking an Accountant in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role involves verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate accounting records, and contributing to continuous improvement within the finance department.

Responsibilities

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
Maintain accurate accounting in line with principles and reporting schedules.
Contribute to continuous improvements.
Collaborate with finance process counterparts.
Ensure accurate domestic supplier reconciliations.
Handle intercompany invoicing for cost reallocation.
Prepare and reconcile monthly GL, including suspense accounts.
Prepare and assist with VAT return files and submissions.
Prepare and file VAT documents for audit.
Prepare WH tax files.
Perform bank and cash postings and reconciliations.
Post payroll, leave, and bonus journals.
Prepare and post Concur transactions.
Check Concur transactions and reconcile relevant GL accounts.
Prepare and post monthly accruals.
Post monthly interest on lease liability journals.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and queries.
Provide GL accounting support to the Finance Manager.
Maintain and reconcile IFRS 16 schedules.
Manage company credit cards.
Update Sales and Stock Modules after review.
Update FTE Stats.
Assist with onboarding of new suppliers and update Scala.
Coordinate with the bank.
Assist sales and service operation teams with financial information.
Process GOSI payments.
Coordinate with external tax and assurance consultants.
