Alfa Laval UK&I is seeking a Relocation Project Manager for an 18-month fixed-term contract to manage and execute the relocation of their Service Centre and Office in Camberley. This hybrid role involves defining project proposals, ensuring delivery within budget and timeline, managing risks, and overseeing the successful commissioning and handover of all equipment.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute the relocation of the Service Centre and Office.
Define and put together a project proposal and chronogram.
Deliver to agreed programme and within approved budget.
Keep LTI frequency below the AL ambition level.
Manage and mitigate all potential environmental incidents risks.
Maintain business continuity through all stages of the project.
Successful commissioning of all equipment.
Successful handover and operational acceptance.
Completion of all statutory inspections and certifications.
Achieve Site Acceptance & Operational Readiness.
Prepare Documentation pack including Asset Register, O&M Manuals, Warranty information, Commissioning reports, Test and Inspection Reports, Project Final Close Out.

Requirements

Formal Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent).
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent H&S experience).
Experience managing industrial contractors.
Experience with Heavy Machine Relocation.
Experience with Foundation design and review.
Experience with Installation and Commissioning (including alignment).
Understanding of compressed air systems, drainage, utilities and electrical distribution systems.
Experience with Overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
Experience with Gas Systems and Fire Systems (including HVAC).
Experience with Industrial relocation projects from Manufacturing facility set up, Workshop relocation, Capital Projects ($5 million+) and multi-site programmes.
Experience with Operational readiness.
Experience establishing, committing and delivering on agreed budgets.
Experience delivering project updates and milestone achievements.
Experience working with QHSE teams to establish and implement best practice as well as following all applicable regulations.
Experience managing multi discipline Subcontractors and Suppliers and ensuring project scope and activities are complete safely and in accordance with regulations.
Experience ensuring equipment meets specification and is commissioned according to user requirement.
Experience engaging with internal supply chain to establish new sub-contractors/suppliers.
Experience working with internal processes and systems to execute the projects.

Desired Qualifications

Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
CDM experience.
IOSH Managing Safely.
SMSTS.
COSHH Certification.
