In short

As a Transportation Representative in the Network Operations Center (NOC) in Hyderabad, you will be central to managing Amazon's Transportation Execution across multiple geographies. You will facilitate information flow, resolve exceptions, and contribute to streamlining operations through data analysis and process improvements, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries.

Responsibilities

Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon technology teams who create and enhance software systems and tools used by NOC.
Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make decisions based on available data.
Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to the relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
Communicate findings and variances to goals in a narrative and present them in a review forum.

Requirements

Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Basic understanding of Logistics.
Clear communication in written and oral form.
Ability to ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level.
