The Alexa Excellence team in Chennai/Bengaluru is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to enhance Alexa's voice-forward experience. You will contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of mission-critical applications, focusing on speech and language understanding to improve Alexa customer experiences. Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of products used every day by people you know.
Work on programs to increase the stability and performance of all Alexa customer experiences.
Provide leadership, best practices, tools, research, audit reports, support, and education to all Alexa teams.
Ensure that Alexa is always ready.

Requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
