SiteOwl is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in Typescript, React, and Node.js to join their team in Phoenix, AZ, or Austin, TX. This role involves building innovative physical security management software, developing RESTful APIs, and contributing to AI features, offering a blend of startup agility and corporate resources.

Responsibilities

  • Build software that impacts physical security infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
  • Add new features to SiteOwl’s applications using Typescript, React, Material UI, Capacitor, Supabase, and Node.
  • Create back-end RESTful APIs with documentation.
  • Implement responsive front-end features for desktop and mobile.
  • Write automated tests and perform code reviews.
  • Collaborate with the product team to design and specify features.
  • Work with engineering leadership to architect features.
  • Implement AI features into the codebase.

Requirements

  • College/University degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent work experience (minimum high school/GED).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional development experience.
  • Solid foundation of HTML, CSS, Javascript, HTTP, and Restful APIs.
  • Experience shipping rich apps using React.
  • Experience architecting and shipping backend RESTful APIs using Node.js.
  • Familiarity with front-end and backend performance best practices.
  • Experience with SQL and SQL databases.
  • Experience with common software development tools and processes.
  • Experience with agentic AI development tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
  • Experience with DevOps and working with cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of materials for presentations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with React Native, Android, or iOS development is a plus.
  • An eye for quality UI/UX is a plus.
