Responsibilities
- Administer the Netskope tenant, roles, and access controls.
- Configure and maintain Secure Web Gateway, real-time protection, and SSL inspection policies.
- Configure and support Netskope Private Access, including publishers and steering configurations.
- Monitor Netskope Client health, version compliance, and steering behavior.
- Troubleshoot installation, upgrade, and connectivity issues on managed endpoints.
- Own L2/L3 investigation and resolution of incidents related to blocked URLs, application access, and client connectivity.
- Participate in 24x7 shift coverage, on-call duties, and major incident bridges.
- Plan, assess, test, and implement tenant, policy, and client changes.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation.
- Produce service reports on incidents, performance, and improvement actions.
- Identify automation opportunities for operational tasks.
Requirements
- Hands-on administration of Netskope Security Cloud, including Next Gen Secure Web Gateway and Netskope Private Access.
- Practical knowledge of Netskope Client, traffic steering, publisher architecture, and policy troubleshooting.
- Experience with web filtering, URL categorization, threat protection, and SSL/TLS inspection.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, routing, NAT, proxies, firewalls, IPSec, and VPN technologies.
- Working knowledge of Windows endpoint troubleshooting, services, logs, PowerShell, and enterprise endpoint deployment tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
- Ability to diagnose developer-tool and application trust issues behind SSL inspection.
- Experience with ITSM processes (incident, problem, change management); ServiceNow experience preferred.
- Understanding of Zero Trust, SSE/SASE principles, least privilege, and segmentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4-8 years of experience in network security, secure access, proxy, VPN, or cybersecurity operations.
- At least 2 years of direct Netskope experience or comparable SSE/SASE platform experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale, globally distributed users and applications.
- Experience working in a 24x7 managed-services or operations model.
Desired Qualifications
- Basic scripting or API skills using PowerShell, Python or REST APIs for operational automation and reporting are desirable.
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Administrator (NCCSA) or current equivalent administrator certification.
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Integrator (NCCSI) or current equivalent integration certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Relevant network or security certifications such as CCNA, Security+, CISSP or vendor-specific SSE/SASE certifications.
