IKEA Warrington is seeking a Part-Time Sales Assistant to provide inspirational customer experiences and advise on home solutions. This role involves maintaining showroom presentation, engaging with customers, and supporting sales. Responsibilities

  • Provide an inspirational shopping experience by actively approaching customers to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions.
  • Maintain enthusiasm about the IKEA range and learn the stories behind products and their design.
  • Support maximising sales by ensuring areas are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop.
  • Support customers through personalised planning appointments using IKEA digital planning tools.
  • Manually handle heavy products safely, using ladders and pump trucks.

Requirements

  • Skilled at forward planning, can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own.
  • Customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported.
  • Take initiative, make well-informed choices, and actively engage with daily tasks.
  • Prioritise and organise own work to make efficient use of time with great attention to detail.
  • Efficient, results-driven, and highly organised.
  • Proficient with IT and hand held equipment.
  • Attach an updated CV with your application.
  • Complete an On Demand HireVue recorded interview.
  • Attend an assessment center interview.
