In short

As a Product Care Project Leader in R&D, you will be responsible for driving projects and design concepts to improve product quality, reduce costs, and ensure sustainability. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-7 years of experience and strong knowledge of quality tools, CAD, and PLM systems.

Responsibilities

Create and drive projects & design concepts.
Secure specification implementation, aligning with design guidelines.
Implement strategies for Cost & Quality Excellence and sustainability.
Investigate and implement projects to reduce DM and DL costs.
Improve product quality to reduce warranty SCR.
Provide technical support to the factory.
Design, develop and modify components and finished assemblies.
Coordinate prototyping, verification, costing, sourcing, and production trials.
Liaise with Quality, Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and Engineering departments.
Participate in Project Teams and FMEA's.
Prepare timing plans, risk assessments, and project status reports.

Requirements

Bachelor degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical).
5-7 years of Experience.
Knowledge about Quality tools (FMEA, PSRA, …).
Mechanical component development, system development and design.
Structured engineering approach.
CAE-knowledge.
CAD-knowledge (Catia).
PLM-knowledge (Teamcenter).
Basic knowledge of electric and gas safety.
Knowledge of manufacturing.
Knowledge of approval and environmental rules in different countries.
Knowledge of cross-location platform impacts and information flow.
Knowledge about Electrolux processes (EPM, IQ&EMS).
ISO 9001 (Quality Management).
ISO 14001 (Environmental Standards).
