Alstom is looking for a Junior Traction Project Manager (f/m/d) in Zurich to assist with international traction projects. The role involves monitoring project progress, collaborating with international teams, and supporting project reporting and documentation. This is a VIE contract position with a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in monitoring the progress and status of key components like transformers, converters, pantographs, batteries, battery chargers, and high-voltage auxiliary equipment.
Collaborate with teams across multiple countries (Switzerland, Morocco, India, France, and Germany) to ensure timely updates to the project dashboard.
Follow up with team members and component owners to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on the dashboard.
Assist in managing a checklist to assess the maturity of the project design.
Support communication and knowledge sharing among project stakeholders.
Contribute to project reporting and documentation.
Implement and automate new standard project reporting as Project Management Office.
Synchronise and standardize project reporting with other sites in France.
Manage costing schedules.
Enable team members to excel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
Very good knowledge of PowerBI, PowerAutomate of SharePoint and SharePoint list
Passion for project management
Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-métier teams
Ability to understand the organization, processes, and products involved.
Ability to decide independently when significant impact on QCD requires involving the next level.
Ability to gain and apply insight from every project.
Flair for leading and influencing others.
An entrepreneurial mindset.
A proactive and resourceful approach.
Desire to work collaboratively in a multinational company.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
