Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies, supporting the implementation of pull systems, Kanban and visual management.
- Develop detailed VSMs, process flow diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Improve plant layouts, design and implement material flow strategies.
- Develop and implement part presentation strategies to ensure materials are delivered to workstations in an organized, ergonomic, and efficient manner.
- Capacity analysis and line balancing.
- Design inventory control strategies to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
- 5+ years' experience in Lean Manufacturing, Material Flow Design, Continues Improvement, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to travel including internationally (USA-VISA).
Desired Qualifications
- Implementation of automation technologies such as: Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Scan tunnels.
