This Material Flow Engineer role focuses on leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies, developing process flow diagrams, and optimizing plant layouts. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and intermediate/advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies, supporting the implementation of pull systems, Kanban and visual management.
Develop detailed VSMs, process flow diagrams and standard operating procedures.
Improve plant layouts, design and implement material flow strategies.
Develop and implement part presentation strategies to ensure materials are delivered to workstations in an organized, ergonomic, and efficient manner.
Capacity analysis and line balancing.
Design inventory control strategies to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
5+ years' experience in Lean Manufacturing, Material Flow Design, Continues Improvement, or Industrial Engineering.
Ability to travel including internationally (USA-VISA).

Desired Qualifications

Implementation of automation technologies such as: Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Scan tunnels.
Working with global staff.
