Assistant Engineer
In short
We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to drive silicon validation and characterization. You will develop automated test solutions, perform FPGA and post-silicon validation, and collaborate on debugging using Python and LabVIEW. This entry-level, on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with silicon validation and characterization teams to understand requirements.
- Developing and building test lists and automation suites, including software and firmware for silicon revisions.
- Performing validation on FPGA (pre-silicon) and Silicon (post-silicon).
- Working with cross-functional teams for debugging.
- Automating bench test equipment using Python/LabVIEW to support silicon validation and characterization testing.
- Managing schedules and liaising with cross-functional teams when associated as a program manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical related field of study.
- 0 - 3 years of experience and understanding of Microcontroller and SoC products.
- Experience in Bench Characterization with Analog, Digital and Mixed signal IPs.
- Hands-on experience in using equipment such as SMUs, DMM, Oscilloscopes and Signal generators.
- Good understanding of C, Python, LabVIEW.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
- LabVIEW knowledge will be a great plus.
- Good knowledge about electronic circuits, regulators and reference measurements.
