Responsibilities
- Select and prioritize jobs using the Shop Floor Control System.
- Set up and operate robotized grinding equipment according to work instructions and blueprints.
- Develop and modify basic CNC programs.
- Adjust machine parameters and perform robot calibrations.
- Verify process capability using Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Monitor equipment performance to achieve efficiency targets.
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tooling.
- Assist in developing the skills of team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
- Promote teamwork and positive working relationships.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, machining, or process-driven environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Experience operating CNC-controlled equipment and automated manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and precision measuring devices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ER and ELB equipment.
- Experience with the Roll-ER and PER measurement systems.
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems.
