RBS Tech is seeking an Applied Scientist II to design and deploy scalable GenAI, NLP, and Computer Vision solutions impacting millions of customers and automating operations. The role involves developing novel ML techniques, defining research strategies, and partnering with business and engineering teams to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy scalable GenAI, NLP, and Computer Vision solutions to improve customer experience and automate operations.
Develop novel LLM, deep learning, and statistical techniques for task automation, text processing, image processing, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection.
Define research and experiment strategies with an iterative execution approach to develop and improve AI/ML models.
Partner with business and engineering teams to identify and solve large, complex problems requiring scientific innovation.
Coach and mentor colleagues, contributing to their technical knowledge and engineering practices.
File for patents and/or publish research work.

Requirements

PhD or Master's degree.
Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
Experience in one of the following areas: machine learning technologies, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or related applications.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in CS, CE, ML, or related field research.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate with both research and technical teams.
