As a Part-Time IKEA Food Assistant in Batu Kawan, you will perform food handling, ensure food safety and hygiene, and provide excellent customer service. This role involves cash handling and maintaining product standards in a vibrant retail environment.

Responsibilities

Perform food handling tasks that require prolonged walking and standing duration.
Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Hygiene practices at all time.
Attend to customers’ needs and requests for food with the best customer service quality.
Ensuring all the food products are in perfect conditions and correctly priced at all times.
Upkeep cleanliness and hygiene standards at all time.
Cash handling and able to perform daily food handling and housekeeping chores.

Requirements

Possess cheerful, pleasant personality with a positive mindset.
Having customer service minded, sales driven and feel motivated in working in a vibrant retail environment.
Physically fit with hands-on approach.
Meticulous with an eye for details and follow-up skill.
Strong team player and able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Comfortable to handle basic food preparation.
Able to work on rotating shifts and support retail operations during peak periods on public holidays weekends.

Desired Qualifications

Having Food and Beverage and Café working experience is an additional advantage.
