IKEA Alexandra is seeking Part-Time Sales Associates to engage customers, provide product knowledge, and ensure a positive shopping experience. The role involves understanding customer needs, maintaining store displays, and actively promoting products to drive sales.

Responsibilities

Understand and utilize IKEA sales and communication channels.
Stay updated on home furnishing products, services, and promotions.
Approach and listen to customers to provide in-depth product knowledge.
Assess customer needs and share knowledge with co-workers.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing information and assistance.
Maintain clean, tidy, and fully stocked home furnishing business areas.
Actively steer top-selling and prioritized products to maximize sales.
Respond quickly to commercial opportunities and customer feedback.
Analyze activity performance to improve future planning.
Tidy up the store and return loose articles to their respective areas.

Requirements

Interest in home furnishing and people's everyday life at home.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused service industry.
Strong understanding of excellent customer service and good problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle customer inquiries.
Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
Ability to perform manual tasks and stand for long hours.
Commitment to working shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
Good sales experience and ability to actively sell by understanding customer needs.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office and good computer knowledge.
Ability to commit for 3 months for the role.
