Microsoft's Finance Rotation Program (FRP) offers early-in-profession talent the opportunity to develop finance skills through six-month rotations in Financial Planning & Analysis roles. Analysts will leverage AI tools to solve complex business problems, gain mentorship, and contribute to industry-leading work within a supportive community.

Responsibilities

Apply deep analytical thinking and finance acumen to solve business problems, utilizing financial modeling to deliver actionable insights.
Leverage AI tools and data mining/querying methods to enhance the speed and quality of financial analysis while actively learning and recommending process improvements for reporting and data collection.
Communicate analysis clearly and logically to drive recommendations and decision-making.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (or currently pursuing) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Excel or equivalent tools.
Understanding of fundamental finance concepts and business acumen, including data modeling, data analytics, FP&A, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with analytics tools like Power BI.
Experience using AI to improve efficiency and quality.
