Responsibilities

Performs simple annotation-related tasks in ML data process areas (audio, image, video).
Uses internal tools and software provided by the team.
May participate in data collection activities following provided scripts and instructions.
Applies strong language skills, grammar knowledge, and linguistic rules.
Maintains high internal quality through quality audits and verification.
Meets daily productivity and quality targets.
Tracks queries related to annotation/data collection and shares them with stakeholders.
Tracks daily task completion status and provides individual status reports.
Adheres to confidentiality and compliance requirements.
Helps test new SOPs and ML data tools.
Provides specific and timely feedback to streamline processes.
Offers remedial instruction in tool usage and other topics.

Requirements

Strong command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
Background in linguistics, creative writing, computational linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and interpret data.
Good familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and uses of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox.
Flexibility and interest to do repetitive tasks.
High level of energy and proactive nature.
A sense of ownership and drive and a willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines.
Attention to detail and ability to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
