The role involves maintaining and upkeeping data center infrastructure, including server rack installation, hardware break-fix, and troubleshooting network issues, while adhering to safety and security protocols.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
Server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
Troubleshooting network issues and responding to emergent situations.
Acting as a primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
Working to meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets.
Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance.
Contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives.
Assisting in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).
Physical component requiring ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg, and working in cramped or elevated spaces.

Requirements

2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
1+ years of computer networking experience.
High school or equivalent diploma.
Ability to work 24x7 shift rotation.
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
