AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Centre Operation Technician to maintain and operate global cloud infrastructure in Mumbai, India. This role involves server rack installation, hardware break-fix, network troubleshooting, and responding to operational incidents. You will work within a diverse team, collaborate with internal and external customers, and adhere to SLAs.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
Server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
Troubleshooting network issues and responding to emergent situations.
Serving as the primary contact point for internal customers and external partners.
Meeting SLAs against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow.
Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management.
Contributing to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
Documenting technical issues through root cause analysis and contributing to process improvements.
Assisting in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).

Requirements

2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
1+ years of computer networking experience.
High school or equivalent diploma.

Desired Qualifications

Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
Experience in networking.
Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
