Microsoft seeks a Consulting Project Manager to collaborate with internal teams and clients on pre-sales support and technical delivery of Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions. This role involves project planning, risk management, solution implementation, and stakeholder relationship management to drive digital transformation and customer success.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with internal stakeholders in the pre-sale process, understanding business requirements and providing industry/technical input.
Supports drafting proposals and/or statements of work (SOW).
Provides input on staffing and skill requirements for delivery.
Leads meetings with customers/partners to understand business needs and map them to Microsoft technology solutions.
Participates in project planning, develops project documents, identifies risks and dependencies, and manages schedules.
Implements solutions, provides oversight on workstreams, and manages escalations.
Proactively manages executive-level customer/partner/stakeholder relationships.
Acts as an ambassador in the consumption of intellectual property (IP), leveraging, modifying, or creating content.
Identifies opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption of cloud and Microsoft technologies.
Learns new technologies or services based on business demands and industry trends.
Completes operational tasks and readiness, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business, OR equivalent experience.
Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics).
Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).

Desired Qualifications

5+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
