This hybrid role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions for Radio Access Network products, focusing on automation, quality, and collaboration within international teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software components for Controller 6610 products and supporting applications.
  • Analyze, investigate, and troubleshoot complex software and system-level issues.
  • Participate in feature development throughout the entire software lifecycle, from requirements to delivery.
  • Develop and improve automated testing, verification, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Contribute to software quality, maintainability, and continuous improvements of the engineering environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams located in multiple Ericsson sites worldwide.
  • Work with modern development tools.
  • Support software integration, system verification, and release activities.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related technical field.
  • Strong software development skills in C++, Java, and/or Python.
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and automation agents.
  • Experience with software design, implementation, integration, and testing.
  • Familiarity with Git version control system and collaborative development practices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in international teams.
  • High level of English, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of serial communication.
  • Knowledge of Ericsson products and telecom architectures.
  • Experience with Googletest.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
