AWS Utility Computing is seeking a Software Development Engineer to work on Amazon DynamoDB, a high-performance NoSQL database service. Responsibilities

Own requirements gathering, designs, design reviews, implementations, code reviews, and feature launches.
Work on the hardest engineering problems in distributed systems at massive scale.
Drive continuous improvement in DynamoDB's capabilities.
Support customers requiring specialized security solutions for cloud services.
Participate in ongoing events and learning experiences.

Requirements

Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
3+ years of building complex software systems experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
