The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex ETL processes and databases, ensuring performance and reliability, and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities

Lead technical teams in project implementation using IBM Infosphere DataStage Suite, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting.
Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure best practices are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data processing and integration.
Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in IBM Infosphere DataStage Suite for ETL development.
Strong expertise in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL for database development and management.
Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting for automation and scheduling tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead technical discussions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
Knowledge of using Azure DevOps for build and deploy.
Familiarity with creating physical data models based on data model logic.
Demonstrable experience of eliminating toil through the use of Unix and/or PowerShell scripting, Ansible, dbDoes, dbRun, dbOrbit etc.
Demonstrable experience working with Oracle 19c and/or MSSQL Databases 2022, SQL Queries (Stored Procs, DML and DDL).
Knowledge of SDLC Governance and Release Management.
Promising investigative skills and problem-solving techniques.
Experience in code management and source code repo tools like GIT, BitBucket etc.
Exposure to working with Confluence, SharePoint, TeamCity, Udeploy and JIRA.

Desired Qualifications

Preferably some experience with AI Agent bots.
Preferably some experience in automating the Application and Database Release & Deployments.
