As a Business Analyst at Ikano Centres in Petaling Jaya, you will support the Shopping Centres Management Team by providing business insights and financial analysis for leasing performance. You will prepare reports, forecasts, and recommendations to drive profitable leasing and business growth.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis of leasing income, rental performance, lease terms, vacancy, CAPEX contributions and related operating costs.
Own the development of leasing income forecasts, budgets and financial projections.
Steer regular commercial and leasing performance reviews by identifying trends, risks, opportunities and performance gaps.
Prepare decision-ready reports, financial analysis and presentations.
Act as a trusted business partner by challenging assumptions and providing fact-based insights and recommendations.
Coordinate income planning, target setting, forecasting and performance follow-up.
Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Development and Centre Management teams.
Drive continuous improvement of business analysis, reporting tools, governance routines and ways of working.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Property or related disciplines.
5–8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial analysis, leasing operations or commercial reporting.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business performance reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, business writing and business intelligence tools.
Proactive and collaborative, with good communication and stakeholder management skills.
