AWS India is seeking a Solutions Architect to work with large conglomerates, helping them build innovative services on AWS. The role involves solution design, implementation, and technical engagement, requiring expertise in various technologies like full-stack development, DevOps, databases, networking, security, data analytics, and AI/ML.

Responsibilities

Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how around application construction on AWS.
Work with subsidiaries/JV of large Indian conglomerates to map business requirements to technology.
Understand various design patterns and discern between different data & compute technologies.
Ensure right TCO while meeting functional & non-functional requirements.
Guide on building DevSecOps, Observability & Monitoring of Infrastructure & Applications.
Conduct Well Architected Reviews.
Partner with AWS Domain & Technology Specialists to implement innovative solutions.
Collaborate with Service Teams to identify feature gaps.
Engage with Technical communities and Customer C-Suite on Technology strategy & Best practices.

Requirements

8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
Ability to identify trade-offs and learn new technologies and customer business domains.

Desired Qualifications

5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Automotive & Manufacturing industries experience.
Flair for hands-on coding to do Proof of Concepts and demonstrate technologies.
Good understanding of patterns and frameworks.
