The role involves transforming large datasets into actionable business information, creating reports and visualizations, and working with stakeholders to address key business questions. The ideal candidate will have experience with data analytics, SQL, ETL, and complex Excel VBA macros.

Responsibilities

Develop analytic solutions to drive deep dives and provide insights into operations.
Transform data into actionable business information accessible to global stakeholders.
Own the design, creation, and management of extremely large datasets.
Create datasets, reports, and dashboards, and perform metadata modeling.
Monitor data pipelines and tune query performance against complex datasets.
Interact with program/product owners and technical teams to gather requirements and design data solutions.
Design, implement, and drive adoption of new analytic technologies and best practices.

Requirements

2+ years of tax, finance, or related analytical field experience.
2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience.
Experience defining requirements and using data/metrics to draw business insights.
Experience with SQL or ETL.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Desired Qualifications

Experience using very large datasets.
Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages.
Comfortable juggling competing priorities and handling ambiguity.
Thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment on highly visible projects and initiatives.
