Responsibilities
- Contract drafting, negotiations, support and management.
- Merger & Acquisition due diligence support.
- Litigation support.
- Support business client with respect to safety, security and regulatory matters.
- Enable emerging businesses while mitigating risk.
- Support team members on various projects.
- Foster a team mentality where all tasks are valued.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree or international equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant experience as counsel at a law firm or in-house.
- Active bar license to practice law in the state or jurisdiction where the employee will be practicing (or ability to obtain upon hiring).
- Experience with technology-based commercial transactions.
- Intellectual property background and experience.
- Can work independently, but collaboratively.
- Self-starter who is intellectually curious and has a desire to learn.
Desired Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized, top-tier ABA-accredited law school.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience as counsel at a top tier law firm or in house.
