Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to define strategic initiatives for Google's network infrastructure needs in India.
- Ensure best unit cost delivery for Google network infrastructure aligned with near build cost economics.
- Drive special projects and leadership priorities across regions, functions, and time horizons, including strategy articulation, execution, and tracking.
- Manage multiple vendors or suppliers and keep key stakeholders informed of issues and resolutions.
- Negotiate multiple types of contracts with vendors or suppliers in the subsea and terrestrial telecom infrastructure domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience managing projects or supporting the planning and development of business agreements.
Desired Qualifications
- Market knowledge, including vendors, infrastructure, prices, and trends.
- Commercial negotiation skills, including relationship management, aptitude, and influencing skills.
- Vendor and Partner Management experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the telecom domain, and good understanding of telecom terrestrial and subsea networks.
- Experience with agreement formation, general legal knowledge, analytical skills, and regulatory experience.
