The Site WHS Manager will partner with operations teams in a Fulfillment Center to execute WHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement using lean principles. This role involves risk assessment, safety data analysis, training operations leaders, and managing a safety team to create a safe working environment for associates.

Ansvarsområden

  • Partner with site operations teams to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk.
  • Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through risk assessments and safety data analysis.
  • Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
  • Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies.
  • Manage and mentor Safety Associates, including creating leadership development plans.
  • Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to justify resource allocation.
  • Perform site safety audits to identify non-compliance and implement solutions.
  • Audit record keeping and Austin entries for compliance.
  • Audit workplace organization and associate behaviors for accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure site leadership and associates are trained on their responsibilities under each policy.

Krav

  • 6+ years previous experience in Environment, Health & Safety.
  • Thorough understanding of local/regional regulations and company policy.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in Work Health Safety or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, including pivot tables, charts, and graphics.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS with a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people.
  • Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
