Seeking a temporary welder for the 3rd shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am) from Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include operating welding machines, interpreting blueprints, and performing basic MIG welding on galvanized steel. Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and understanding of metallurgy.

Ansvarsområden

  • Set up, operate, or tend welding machines to join or bond components for metal products or assemblies.
  • Load or feed work pieces into welding machines.
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, or production schedules.
  • Perform basic MIG welding of galvanized steel.
  • Inspect, measure, or test completed metal work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Record operational information on production reports.
  • Assemble, align, and clamp work pieces into holding fixtures.
  • Implement universal standards and specs to meet building codes and legal requirements.
  • Use precision measuring tools to inspect grooves and angles.
  • Conduct tests to check weld quality, including hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance.

Krav

  • High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints.

  • Experience with grinding and cutting equipment.
  • Experience with fixtures.
  • Experience with oxy-fuel systems.
