Emerson is hiring a Warehouse Person in Brantford, ON to support operations. This role involves demonstrating a commitment to safety, applying 5S principles, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining accuracy in inventory and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with experience in warehouse environments being an asset.

Ansvarsområden

Demonstrate commitment to safe work practices and understand stop work authority and safety culture.
Apply 5S principles to maintain exceptional housekeeping standards.
Safely operate material handling equipment and other necessary tools (in-house training provided).
Follow work instructions, verbal instructions, and procedures.
Learn and effectively use warehouse management, inventory, and shipping software systems.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in selecting shipping methods, following packaging guidelines, and meeting special shipping requirements.
Actively participate in the cycle count program to maintain inventory accuracy.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Krav

Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Effectively work well with other workers, be flexible, maintain good listening and communication skills, both verbal and written, and problem-solving skills.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Able to lift up to 40lbs.
Willingness to work overtime after hours/on weekends.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
