Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY company, is hiring a 3rd shift VRC Loader (Cutoff Operator) in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on operating cutoff equipment to ensure continuous tube mill operation, performing quality checks, and minimizing scrap. A high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and experience with measuring tools are required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Operate cutoff equipment of the tube mill to ensure continuous operation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
  • Minimize scrap.
  • Collaborate with maintenance on issue resolution.

Krav

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in using special measuring devices: micrometer, calipers, tape measure.
  • Ability to read and interpret set up charts and make roll tooling adjustments.
  • Ability to change out cut off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling.
  • Ability to document downtime through a seamless reporting system.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to think and react to schedule changes and mill conditions.
  • Ability to be a contributing team member for continuous improvement activities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Cross-training of team members on parts programming and mill set ups.
  • TPM of process and equipment in the area.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly activities with department supervisor.
  • Work with maintenance hands on to get issues resolved in a timely manner.
