Volvo Group seeks an Uptime Buyer in Greensboro, NC, responsible for supplier QDCFTSR performance in the Cab Interior & Exterior segment. Requires 3+ years of strategic purchasing experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Ansvarsområden

  • Accountable for Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, and Risk Management (QDCFTSR) of suppliers within the Cab Interior & Exterior segment.
  • Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies for improved supply chain performance, product quality, innovative technology, and value.
  • Drive negotiations and executive agreements with suppliers.
  • Contribute to segment business plan and act as a member of the global buyer network.
  • Collaborate with global supply chain members to develop and execute global supply chain and technology strategies.
  • Utilize Volvo Production System (VPS) toolbox for supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor, identify, and mitigate risks in cooperation with the Supply Network Quality (SNQ) team.
  • Forecast cost evolution for the scope of responsibility.
  • Manage and negotiate product/process changes during and after production phases for Revenue segments.

Krav

  • 3+ years of strategic purchasing experience (e.g., contracts, supplier negotiations, sourcing, etc.).
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen, agile in way of working.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent working experience.

  • Experience with the Cab Interior & Exterior segment.
  • Familiarity with Volvo Production System (VPS).

  • Base pay between $72,590.00 - $89,670.00 annually, bonus eligible.
