Responsibilities
- Accountable for Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, and Risk Management (QDCFTSR) of suppliers within the Cab Interior & Exterior segment.
- Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies for improved supply chain performance, product quality, innovative technology, and value.
- Drive negotiations and executive agreements with suppliers.
- Contribute to segment business plan and act as a member of the global buyer network.
- Collaborate with global supply chain members to develop and execute global supply chain and technology strategies.
- Utilize Volvo Production System (VPS) toolbox for supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor, identify, and mitigate risks in cooperation with the Supply Network Quality (SNQ) team.
- Forecast cost evolution for the scope of responsibility.
- Manage and negotiate product/process changes during and after production phases for Revenue segments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of strategic purchasing experience (e.g., contracts, supplier negotiations, sourcing, etc.).
- Experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen, agile in way of working.
- Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent working experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Cab Interior & Exterior segment.
- Familiarity with Volvo Production System (VPS).

- Base pay between $72,590.00 - $89,670.00 annually, bonus eligible.
