Join Amazon's Relay Operation Centre (ROC) in Hyderabad as a Transportation Specialist. This role involves managing the flow of information between stakeholders to resolve transportation exceptions, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of freight. You will utilize internal tools and communicate effectively to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ansvarsområden

  • Facilitate the flow of information between external (Carriers, Vendors, Shippers, Drivers) and internal customers (Amazon sites, business teams).
  • Resolve potential issues impacting customer experience and business continuity in Inbound (IB) and Outbound (OB) operations.
  • Address issues such as appointment bookings, reschedules, in-transit disruptions, and weather impact.
  • Support tasks like load scheduling, load cancelations, network capacity management, coordinating with non-Amazon transportation organizations, managing remote gate-houses, and equipment availability/maintenance.
  • Provide timely resolution to issues by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions.
  • Analyze data and effectively communicate resolutions to meet network speed and customer promises.
  • Communicate clearly in written and oral form.
  • Ideate and drive process improvements.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Systemically escalate problems to relevant owners and teams and follow through to closure.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Support 24/7 operations across rotational shifts for NA and EU regions.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training or certifications.
  • Basic understanding of Logistics.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to quickly understand business impact of trends and make decisions.
