Join Amazon's Relay Operation Centre (ROC) as a Transportation Specialist in Bengaluru, India. This role facilitates information flow between stakeholders, resolves transportation exceptions for inbound and outbound operations, and supports network efficiency. A Bachelor's degree and SQL experience are required for this full-time, on-site position.

Ansvarsområden

  • Facilitate flow of information between different stakeholders (Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses) and resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
  • Address potential issues such as appointment bookings, reschedules, in-transit disruptions, and weather impact situations.
  • Perform tasks such as load scheduling, load cancelations, network capacity management, and coordinating with non-Amazon transportation organizations.
  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers, Shippers, Drivers) and internal customers (Amazon sites, business teams and stakeholders).
  • Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Systemically escalate problems to relevant owners and teams and follow through to closure.
  • Work with Amazon Internal tools, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Understand business impact of trends and make decisions in the best interest of customers and the organization.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Support rotational shifts (24/7, 365 days) for NA and EU regions.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • 0–5 years of experience in customer support/operations support.
