Join Amazon's Relay Operation Centre (ROC) as a Transportation Specialist. This role involves facilitating information flow, resolving transportation exceptions, and supporting Inbound and Outbound operations. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a Bachelor's degree and experience with SQL and Excel. The role operates on rotational shifts to support 24/7 operations.

Ansvarsområden

  • Facilitate flow of information between stakeholders (Carriers, Hubs, Warehouses) and resolve issues impacting customer experience.
  • Support Inbound (IB) Operations ensuring timely freight pick-up and delivery.
  • Support Outbound (OB) Operations ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Address potential issues such as appointment bookings, reschedules, in-transit disruptions, and weather impacts.
  • Perform tasks such as load scheduling, load cancelations, network capacity management, and coordinating with external transportation organizations.
  • Manage remote gate-houses, equipment availability, and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide timely resolution to issues by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions.
  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors, Shippers, Drivers) and internal customers (Amazon sites, business teams).
  • Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Systemically escalate problems to the relevant owners and teams and follow through to closure.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Support NA and EU regions across rotational shifts (24/7, 365 days).

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • 0-5 years of experience in customer support/operations support.
  • Basic understanding of Logistics.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and effectively communicate resolutions.
  • Ability to ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.
  • Proficiency with Amazon Internal tools, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
