Amazon ROC is seeking a Transportation Specialist I in Hyderabad, India, to manage transportation execution, resolve exceptions, and support inbound/outbound operations. This role offers significant learning and career advancement opportunities within Amazon's global supply chain network.

Ansvarsområden

  • Facilitate information flow between carriers, hubs, warehouses, and internal teams.
  • Resolve potential issues impacting customer experience and business continuity for inbound and outbound operations.
  • Manage tasks such as appointment bookings, reschedules, in-transit disruptions, load scheduling, and cancellations.
  • Coordinate with external transportation organizations and manage equipment availability and maintenance.
  • Research and query internal tools to provide timely issue resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with external customers (carriers, vendors, shippers, drivers) and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Systemically escalate problems and follow through to closure.
  • Work with Amazon Internal tools, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Understand business impact and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work within various time constraints and support rotational shifts (24/7/365) for NA and EU regions.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • 0-5 years of experience in customer support or operations support.
  • Freshers with no experience must have strong English communication skills (verbal, written, or assisted).
