Volvo Group is seeking a Transport Analyst in Singapore to manage freight cost control, logistics service provider relationships, and daily transport operations. This role involves analyzing and reducing freight spend, supporting RFQs, optimizing ordering, and driving process automation and digital reporting within the Customer Service & Transport Solutions team.

Ansvarsområden

Conduct freight spend/cost analysis and monitor performance to identify improvement potentials.
Drive improvement activities related to transportation spending.
Verify transporter invoices and manage submission to the Finance department.
Participate in RFQs for transporter selection to secure the best Cost/Value.
Coordinate with Business Areas to optimize ordering and reduce CO2 and freight costs.
Manage and escalate urgent Vehicle Off-Road (VOR) orders to ensure the earliest Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).
Track and manage Inbound Containers, air shipments, and dealer returns, highlighting deviations.
Implement technologies to automate processes within the Customer Services & Transport Solutions (CS&TS) team.
Create and maintain digital dashboards for reporting and analysis.

Krav

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant working experience of more than 5 years.
Strong customer and dealer focus.
Collaborative team player.
High level of ownership and accountability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and Power Apps.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and self-driven.
Positive learning mindset and adaptability to change.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Proficiency in additional Asian languages is an advantage.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Knowledge on relevant AI tools will be a strong plus.
Experience using Volvo Performance System methodologies for problem-solving.
