As an Infrastructure Asset Engineer (Track Lead - Support & Operations) in Pune, you will be responsible for the governance, security, compliance, and operational stability of database assets. This role involves managing JIRA tickets related to vulnerability management, cyber hygiene, patch governance, and risk reduction, ensuring timely resolution in line with organizational policies.

Ansvarsområden

Manage security risks associated with technology assets.
Raise risk acceptances, exceptions, or compensating controls when remediation cannot be achieved within agreed timelines.
Ensure risks are documented, tracked, approved, and periodically reviewed.
Own and manage vulnerability remediation activities for assigned applications and infrastructure assets.
Review, assess, prioritize, and action vulnerability findings raised through security scanning tools and governance processes.
Ensure vulnerabilities are remediated within defined Cyber Hygiene remediation timelines and SLAs.
Track remediation progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate with technology owners, engineering teams, and support teams to drive timely remediation.
Ensure patch compliance across application-related infrastructure, servers, databases, middleware, and supporting technologies.
Review and approve patching activities and change requests.
Coordinate patch testing, implementation, validation, and rollback planning.
Monitor patch deployment schedules and ensure compliance with patching policies.
Drive closure of Cyber Hygiene findings and security remediation tasks.
Ensure compliance with corporate security standards, CIS benchmarks, and security controls.
Monitor Cyber Hygiene dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
Identify recurring issues and drive sustainable remediation solutions.

Engineered Database products (Oracle – ExaCC, Oracle enterprise manager, MSSQL etc)
Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows
ServiceNow / ITSM Tools
Change Management Processes
Risk Management and Exception Handling
Security Incident and Problem Management
Strong stakeholder management
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong ownership and accountability mindset
Experience presenting security metrics to senior management

Önskade kvalifikationer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CRISC, or equivalent.
Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
Experience managing large-scale remediation programs and security compliance initiatives.
